This slow-paced course is
for anyone that has images, digital or traditional, and wants to improve their appearance
and impact, but has no idea how to even take the first step towards this goal.
Photoshop
is the world's most popular and effective photo editing software in use today. This will be a step-by-step course in the basics of
PhotoShop. Learn how to upload your images, open them in Photoshop, to resizing, retouching,
getting rid of red eye, removing glare from glasses, selective hand tinting
on an image, altering from a color image to a black and white image, sepia toning, filter applications,
color and contrast correction, how to correct backgrounds and change them,
how to make collages, how to straighten crooked images, and much more. The small size of this class will
allow the instructor to assist students individually in their images. We
will be using Adobe Photoshop
CS6 in this course, but the applications you
learn in this course can be applied to any Prerequisite: May 2013 Daytime Class
