Introduction to
Light Measurement

Do your slides or photographs ever
lose the feel of the subject? Learn the skill to capture what your eye sees rather
than what the camera's eye wants you to see! No math... Counting on your fingers and multiplying and dividing a number by 2 is all
that is required. Explore techniques of seeing and measuring light;
using on-camera incident and reflective meters ; exposure by substitution;
using the Sunny-16 method. Learn a simplified five-step zone/value system
for pre-visualization of your image. You will have personalized attention from the instructor, so that you may reach the goals that you set out for yourself in this course.
