Weekend Workshop on Flash 
and Strobe Techniques
for Film and Digital Cameras

 

In this two day weekend workshop you will learn how to use your SLR or digital camera with an off-camera flash or studio strobes (flash units) to create professional looking images. Learn how to eliminate unwanted shadows and red eyes using flash extension arms. Learn when to use bounce flash, for natural looking indoor portraits and fill flash for natural looking outdoor subjects. Do studio lighting and learn innovative ways to use flash and strobe in the studio and outside. You will have personalized attention from the instructor, so that you  may reach the goals that you set out for yourself in this course.

Supplies Needed:
1) A SLR or Manual Digital Camera-If you are not sure about your camera,
please check with the instructor before registering.

2) Film recommended- 2 rolls of Portra 160 NC or Digital recording medium
3) Your flash and its manual
4) Any other flash equipment that you may have that you have questions about
